Our Dental Specialists

Dr Collie Moran

Collie Moran qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1992.  He followed his special interest in implantology and prosthetic dentistry which resulted in being awarded a Masters Degree with Distinction from The Royal London Hospital School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1999.

In 2007  the practice was refurbished, and state of the art equipment fitted. He is proud to be able to offer the full range of complex dental and cosmetic treatments in conjunction with his specialist colleagues.

He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantoogy, a past president of  The London Dental Study Club and lectures to dentists and vocational trainees for The London Deanery in implant and prosthetic dentistry.  Dr Moran is Registered # 68661 with the General Dental Council, 37 Wimpole Street, London W1G 8 DQ. He is a PADI dive master, a keen traveller, and big football fan.

Dr Firas Daoudi

Firas has wide interest in and a very strong commitment to restorative dentistry. This includes root canal treatments, cosmetic dentistry and implants. He has authored numerous articles in international professional journals and has given presentations both nationally and internationally on a variety of dental topics.

Firas gained his DDS degree in Syria 1992 and his Master in Conservative Dentistry (MSc) from the prestigious UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 1997. In addition he is Licentiate in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is recognised by the General Dental Council in the UK as a Specialist in Prosthodontics.

Today, apart from his commitment here at Putney Hill Dental Practice, Firas is Associate Specialist in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Hospital. Firas is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry (BSRD), British Endodontic Society (BES), British Dental Association (BDA), Eastman Dental Academy. He is registered with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr Abdul Khan

Abdul gained his BDS BZU in 1992 and is a General Dental Council registered specialist in oral surgery. We are very fortunate to have him attend the practice on Saturday mornings and evenings by arrangement. Abdul is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and was awarded his Master of Science degree in 1994. He completed his residency in oral medicine at the university of Louisiana in 1998.

Dr Khan is a very skilled and highly experienced surgeon. In addition to wisdom tooth removal he has a particular interest dental implants and bone grafting. In conjunction with his restorative colleague Dr Collie Moran he undertakes all aspects of implant dentistry from a single missing tooth to full mouth reconstruction. Treatment can be carried out under sedation if requested.

Abdul is a keen follower of cricket .

Dr Daniel Flynn

After qualifying from Trinity College Dublin, Daniel spent a year as a House Surgeon in the Dublin Dental Hospital, concentrating on both restorative dentistry and oral surgery, following this, he completed the MFDS exams before beginning a three-year programme in Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute. He lectures and gives hands-on courses for general dentists. Daniel also teaches Endodontics at the Eastman Dental Institute for Oral Healthcare Sciences.

Socially, Daniel is a sporting enthusiast and plays football for a Sunday League team. He also enjoys skiing and snowboarding and has travel.

Dr Vam Nagala

BDS (Lond), BSc (Lond), MClin Dent (Perio), Adv Clin Dip (Perio)

Vam trained at The Royal London Hospital and graduated as a dentist in 2008. After completing his vocational training year, he worked as Senior House Officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Southend General Hospital. Over the next 3 years, Vam worked in general practice as a Specialty Dentist in Southend, London and Cambridge. He also taught undergraduates at Queen Mary University, London as a clinical supervisor in Oral Surgery prior to embarking on his training pathway in periodontics (the treatment of gum disease). During this time, he completed his membership exams at the Royal College of Surgeons and was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.

Vam has since completed his Advanced Clinical Diploma as well as a Master’s degree in Clinical Dentistry, in the field of periodontology. He has conducted clinical research as well as co-authored several publications in key British journals.

Vam’s caring and patient focused approach is an integral aspect of how he treats our patients. His unique mix of experience in Periodontics, Implantology and Oral Surgery enables him to offer these services to patients.
